J.O.Y. Ministries began with a team of youth leaders in Adair County organizing mission trips around the United States and abroad. In the fall of 2011, God impressed upon the team the desire to serve people in the local community stricken by poverty, single parenthood, addiction, and food insecurity.

Since then, J.O.Y. Ministries has been working to share the love of Jesus with everyone, regardless of their past or current situation. J.O.Y. Ministries desires to demonstrate to others through personal relationships the life change that comes with knowing our Savior.

Crisis Resource Center

The Crisis Resource Center seeks to provide local families and individuals in situations of crisis with resources and relief—including shelter, finances for utilities and rent, food, clothing, furniture, and help with applications for public assistance.

Youth Outreach

The heart of our ministry is helping children in difficult places see Jesus at work in their lives—engaging with students through camps, mission experiences, leadership training, and more—in hopes of raising up the next generation to be Jesus-focused citizens leading healthy, hope-filled lives.
