The Mission
The mission of the J.O.Y Ministries Crisis Resource Center is to follow God’s command to care for the least and the lost by providing safe shelter, food, and support services. We provide our guests a grace-filled path towards a fulfilling life that allows them to contribute positively to their community.
Our Services
The Crisis Resource Center is staffed and run by volunteers and funded by local donations from individuals, churches, and businesses in the community. We provide guests with food, toiletries, clothing, temporary shelter, help with finding permanent housing and employment, and rent and utility assistance. We offer programming like Bible studies, financial planning classes, and recovery group meetings. Finally, we transport children from local neighborhoods to the Meals on the Square program that provides free breakfasts and lunches to students during the farmer’s market on Saturdays.
